North aisle and wall rebuilt; all roofs renewed; box pews removed. Planned to
reconstruct the rood screen, to restore the interior to its originally intended
proportions, but this was never carried out.
Fellowes Prynne apparently found …many parts of rare archaeological
interest… and he took care to incorporate them appropriately. |
